Hi
I have a problem with the pay app...it doesn't allow me to sign in. I can't use the app as it doesn't take me to any type of set up screen to add cards.
I've tried uninstall/reinstall, clearing cache, force stopping the app, clearing data, soft reset and restarting. 
Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Probably not the solution but the next time you clear the cache also clear the cache for "Google Play services". This app takes settings from other apps and re-establishes itself when cleared. I have done this myself with no complications.

You don't mention your phone model or whether you have signed in before. Some models don't support the pay app. If this is the case do a bit of Googling and searching Play Store to check whether other apps will suit your needs.

Hi and thanks for the reply. First time user, so not putting my phone model was an oversight- it's a Galaxy 23FE and I've used the pay app before.
I had trouble putting a new card on the app and things kinda went down hill from there.
I initially did a troubleshoot using google search then went onto Whatsapp chat with a Samsung rep who directed me to here.
I'll give the play services idea a try and report back.

So I can't even get into the app!
I've attached pictures from initially opening the app to the message in the fourth image. Once I press OK, the app closes.

I can't see any reference to using safe mode. Read up on it. It is also not likely to be an answer unless trying the new card affected network settings and those settingsaffected your app. It allows you to add each app progressively until the user finds an app causing the problem. Before doing this Google "what apps does Samsung Pay use" and, if available clearing their caches, but also using them in safe mode.

For what it was worth, I ran safe mode but the wallet app was dulled out. I wasn't sure what else to do from there. Google searching isn't really answering the question of why isn't the app fully working

Can't think of anything else but on the main Community page top right search button look for pay app. Even if you find one with no answer if you click on their image you can direct message asking if they resolved their problem.

Also Community page bottom right click on Support and choose which contact method is best for you.
