Samsung Pay & Card Replacement

Hi there, 

Just wanted to share this, so recently I had the unfortunate experience of getting my credit card compromised.

Some of you may wonder what happens to Samsung Pay when waiting for Card Replacement. Can I use it, or does it not work. 

In my case, this was with Maybank (so the experience may vary with other banks)

1. Samsung Pay will automatically update the card details (if you did not remove it from your device) 

2. Even though it has the new card number, you are not able to use it till the card is activated.

3. Experience with Visa or Mastercard may be different too
