Store rewards not honoured

I share this in case someone else is suffering from the same issue with Samsung rewards. Seems that the Samsung team is no honoured their promise of minimum spend to qualify for reward tier on their site and app.

I baught more than RM 11,000 on Samsung online store but still stuck on blue tier. When I contacted support they replied with we can't entertain your request. Funny ppl. I have the images for proof and will post them here. (Second image click it to see see all orders ad it may not be clear due to their picture reduction on here)

I believe that you have to wait a while for it to be updated. Once the pre-order purchase reward points are credited to your account, you will be upgraded if the spending is already more than 10k

Lol I hit more than RM10,00 since Aug 2023 preorder zflip5. It has not been updated yet. Is that acceptable? It's been one year, so they plan to only update when exactly lol

Ohh if the spending is already more than 10k last year, it should be already updated by now. Maybe you can try to email my_shop@samsung.com to see if they can assist you

I did, and they said we can't entertain me. Here is the reply email, lol Christy is not nice at all

If this was a really great samsung app the update should be automatic but since it's a manual upgrade which is a joke I guess someone like Christy can have the power to do this to customers.

I think you emailed the incorrect team though, it should be my_shop@samsung.com and will not response by the Samsung pay team

If not mistaken, they rolled out this tiering program in 2022? According to an email I have from E-store support when I enquired about the similar issue.

Therefore, the earnings made before that will not be taken into account.

This spending to achieve the tier is within a two year period.

I think that's a lame excuse for such a big name to not award big spenders with a reward. Enough said let ppl judge and make up their own mind on how Samsung values customers that only buy their top end phone.

Hi , good day! Samsung Rewards Tiering Program started on 23 Nov 2023 .. so , any purchases before the date , didn't counted 😊

Its clear that you have emailed the wrong team. You should reach out to e-store team instead of Samsung Pay.
