Samsung Smart Switch

Greetings to everyone

When I try to take a backup copy of the images, the Samsung Smart Switch is stuck taking a copy at image number 560, and I do not know whether this image is corrupted or not. If there is a corrupt, how can I determine which image is causing the issue?

Bearing in mind that I am an amateur I don t lnow. However, I just Googled "Smart Switch backup stops" and got this amongst other results

If that doesn't resolve it we can look at doing something with a connection cable for a partial copying.

If you have access to a Windows computer and a connecting cable usb-a to usb-c ? Connect. Read any message carefully, then either right click the entire device and paste into a windows folder, or identify the photos folder, you have to search for it, My Files in your Samsung or click through folders when connected, you could just copy the photos. Remember if you have an sd card to check there too. If there are still problems you could save in batches of 100 or 50. Once you have a batch fail you would then save the first 10, the next, until one of those sub-batches fail. Then in that 10 small batch of 5, etc. until you find the faulty one. You should have enough info to go back to your Samsung and delete it there. You might find all photos above 560 also fail but we will have to face that if it happens.
Bearing in mind that the order you are saving files may be different from the Smart Switch order, you might have to use variations of that order when trying this process, e.g. date or size.

To be safe, either in Safe Switch if it has the option, or in both Samsung or Google backup, unclicking photos in the latter, oould do backups of the rest of your advice. Helpful if you have to Factory reset and want to recover

is there any way to capture application traffic to know what the picture makes that issue?
