I’m experiencing an issue when trying to restore files from my Secure Folder after backing them up on my PC using Smart Switch.
When I transfer the files back to my phone via Smart Switch, I notice that the storage space decreases by the size of the Secure Folder. However, when I open the Secure Folder, the files are not there. Furthermore, the files seem to be deleted automatically, as I see the available memory decreases again shortly after the transfer.
I can see all of my files on the PC, but they appear to be encrypted, so I can’t access them there either.
Has anyone experienced this issue or has anyone successfully restored their Secure Folder files recently? Any suggestions on how to restore the files properly would be greatly appreciated as i have very important files in there!

Confirm Secure Folder Status: Ensure that Secure Folder is set up and functioning correctly on your phone:
Go to Settings > Biometrics and Security > Secure Folder. Make sure it's active, and you've signed in with the same Samsung account used during backup.
Confirm that the files were backed up correctly by checking the backup folder on your PC. Secure Folder data is encrypted, so it will appear inaccessible outside the Secure Folder environment.
Restore Using Smart Switch:
Connect your phone to your PC and open Smart Switch.
Use the Restore option and ensure that Secure Folder data is selected for restoration.
Allow the process to complete without interruptions. Disconnecting the phone during the transfer may cause issues.
After the restoration process, open the Secure Folder to verify if the files are visible. If they are not, try restarting your phone and checking again.
