Unable to reset password

So I forgot the password to the secure folder, and I have no option for password reset/forgot pin it just says "uninstall". I'm not sure how to fix this

Hi, if you have forgotten your Secure Folder password, you can reset it by confirming the Samsung Account you used to set it up.

Open Secure Folder on your device > Click "FORGOT PASSWORD" > On the next screen, login with your Samsung Account. If you forgot your Samsung Account password, reset it here.

If you don't see the option for "Forgotten Password", Go to Settings > Apps > Search for for "Secure Folder" > Scroll down to Storage & Clear Both Cache & Data for Secure Folder > Reboot & Try again to Reset the password.

Tried doing that, I have no option for forgotten password, I just have "uninstall" under the text bar that you type the password into

Try entering the incorrect password several times & you should see "forgotten password" popup.

I have a time out, will try once that's cleared. I'll post an update thanks for the suggestion

Finally tried it and it didn't work. I have "try again in 24 hours" still no option for resetting password

Update!
It's still not working - anytime I enter a password and it's incorrect i get locked out for 24 hours. There is no forgot password even with clearing caches, there's an uninstall button that also doesn't work. Anytime I hit the uninstall button it takes me to my phones home page and a grey box appears on the bottom of my screen saying "if this keeps happening contact customer support".

No spam. I'm having the same *** issue. its *** me off. it is full of pictures of my wife. My wife passed away February 27th 2024. and since then I can't get into it. same issue. no forgot password link either

Same boat, pics of passed wife and can no longer access it. Every 24 hours having to try it once, absolute joke. I use to be an advocate for samsung/Android but this is a ***en joke. Over 2 years of forums with this problem, still no resolution or rectification.
