About smartthings app

I am planning of buying smart dynamic colour light bulbs, will I be able to control them with just my galaxy phone with the smart things app? Or do I need a home hub? 

Is bixby assistant will be able to control them when I say so? 

If I will need a home hub, is there a specific hub that I have to buy? Or I can just have alexa or google home? Will those hubs intergrate with my galaxy phone on smart things app? 

Please I need help on this cuz I am intending to have smart dynamic colour lightbulbs.

Is smart dynamic colour light bulbs the name of the product? You can see if the product is supported if you try and add the product in smart things. If its in the list then it should work.

Yes, open Smatthings -> Devices (bottom tab) -> + (on top) -> Add device -> Add partner devices

You can searcb or browse if the brand or device is listed or not.

You have to make sure the bulbs support smart things. Most don't and only support Google and/or Alexa.

I use Alexa anyways. And I just found out the other day you can link SmartThings and Alexa together, and I am now able to turn off my soundbar and TV off and on with Alexa instead of my phone.

I then created a routine where I can say "Alexa turn on living room" and she'll turn on my lights, tv and soundbar. I even have a routine called "turn living room off" and she'll turn all those off.
