Why is Govee not supported?

Hi, why don't you support Govee products? It seems like you have all the random brands but don't support one of the most popular lighting companies....

I have a bunch of Govee products which I want to integrate with smartthings but I can't. Everytime there's an update, I always check to see that maybe you guys added support for it but get disappointed everytime. 

Please add them.

Yes, I totally agree and wish that indeed Govee would be listed.

There's a lot of Smart Bulb & Smart Lighting manufacturers...

I guess that Samsung, or any other Smart assistant, ie: Google Home Alexa etc, can't support all them? 

 

If Smart Things doesn't, there's alternatives like Google Assistant, Alexa etc.

Yeah, that was my point. They have all these random garbage manufacturers, but don't support Govee, which is actually popular among smart homes. Weird.

I use it with google home but can't set up automations with my smartthings sensors, appliances etc.

If they can add other manufacturers, they should add Govee too unless there's some issue with the API's or something.

What do you mean? I have all my Govee integrated with smartthings.. they're all matter compatible and linked to the matter hub on my Samsung tv.

Not all their products are matter compatible. Only the new ones. Yeah, it works with matter, of course.

Yes, as said by ez1to3 the Govee products are integrated with SmartThings via Matter. This integration definitely enhances the functionality and control you have over your smart lighting setup. 

However, we will consider this as a feedback that only the newer Govee products would be Matter compatible. Hopefully, our team will prioritize by adding that support in future updates!
