Issue with Samsung email application

With Samsung email application, when trying to open a 20Mo attachment from an email in my hotmail inbox, I get "telechargement impossible - fichier trop volumineux" (translate to "Download impossible - file too big").. downlaod is successful for the very same attachment if the the email is in my gmail inbox... downloading the attachment in the email in my hitmail inbox with the microsoft outlook app works.

All params in my samsung email applicstion are set to no limits.

Seems an issue with samsung email appl with hotmail only...

Fix needed or someone knows how to make this work?

Hi TheThinker,

It seems the Samsung Email app is blocking the download due to a file-size rule, even though your settings are set to “no limit.” This issue doesn’t occur with Gmail accounts or when using the Outlook app. As a workaround, you can try re-adding your Hotmail account as IMAP, or use the Outlook app.

We’ll treat this as feedback and share it with our team for review. We also recommend sending an error report through the Samsung Members app so it can be investigated further.
