Occassionlly I see someone complaining about Samsung not listening to them when they report a problem. Or someone reporting that they have a new problem on beta 3 they didn't have on beta two.
It's been back a few versions of Android but I have developed alternate roms for another brand of phone and its no easy task getting it right. When you have firmware for multiple models with software for multiple carriers being pushed out there is going to be a lot of problems coming and going or just not getting fixed immediately. It's not throwing darts in the dark but it does come close to that sometimes. A fix for one phone could easily break another phone. That's why the beta goes on for so long, so every model with every carrier will hopefully get an error free software.
If you could go back to Android 9 beta forums, it would look almost identical to this one, yet in the end most people were mostly happy with the end result. (Mostly happy because some people are never happy) 😁

I think Samsung uses a separate partition for carrier customizations and carrier apps so the underlying firmware is actually exactly the same regardless of the carrier. That doesn't mean a carrier customization can't break something but Samsung wouldn't be responsible for fixing something like that--carriers test updates before they push them out to customers which is why everyone doesn't get updates on the same day. AT&T customers normally get updates later than Verizon or T-mobile because AT&T includes more modifications to One UI so more can go wrong and it takes longer to test. That's also why AT&T didn't take part in the beta.

I agree!
I also wish people were a little more friendly and not as Demanding with their posts. There's actual human developers reading this forum so let's all try to be civil.
This is my 3rd participation in a beta testing program for Samsung. I have noticed over the years that being friendly, helpful, and not typing in all caps is easier for us all to enjoy this experience.
I feel for the folks who are having issues that make day to day phone usage hard, but most things are just personal preference when not pertaining to actual bugs, glitches, etc. So let's all have fun!
