Please allow the quick app switcher to work without enabling gesture hints, or at least an option to manually enable/disable it.

Swipe up slightly, then pull over. You don't need gesture hints.

it works, you just need to swipe up on recents and at the same time swipe left or right

that's just not intuitive. don't forget that this phone is used by common people (not tech savies only) they need to make it work without having to do extra work.
