Many of my friends have encountered a green line appearing on screen after updating their phone recently. I am afraid to do so on my s21 Ultra.
They went to the service centre to check and was told it was not due to the update (which obviously is!) and have to pay to get it fixed.
The issue is not cause by phone user and this brings a lot of inconvenience to the user left without a phone for weeks while it is being repaired and having to pay to resolve an issue due to Samsung software update.
You have to appeal to get the fee wavier. Some centres did it for free. Some don't. Where is the service and consistency of resolving an issue cause by samsung update?
