We went to Samsung MOA para ipa-trade in yung Samsung Note20 Ultra ng partner. Then apparently sabi ni Trade-in Checker ...

Us: So, gawa pala ng update ng Samsung.

Us: So no choice kami ganun? Bumili or ipa-repair na lang?

TIC: Opo.

While most Members got excited pagmay-update ang phone, ako kinakabahan. Kasi nangyari din last December yon N20U ko, followed by another line appearance sa January. Na trade-in ko na since.

I don't think Samsung intentionally did the update to damage our phones, kaya lang they are in denial to avoid massive repairs, etc.

Funny, yong babae sa Samsung MOA inosyente. She may lose her job for her customer handling/response 😵🥴

I suggest i-tradein mo na yong N20U mo. Do not get the lcd screen replacement and take the risk. Baka babalik yong LINE.

Ganun na nga po yung ginawa namin. Pero dahil may lines na yung phone mas bumaba yung trade-in value nya 🤦‍♂️

Ang trade-in price nakuha ko 16.4k, kasama na ang top-up 13k during that time. Anong offer ngayon?

15k ngayon. LCD screen replacement costs around 15k rin.

Damaged na ang phone, although it's not our fault, then nobody is gonna buy the phone outside of Samsung. Get the trade-in na. It's a heartache palagi mong makikita yong damaged phone sa bahay.

Yes okay na. Pinatrade-in na talaga namin. The point is what if mangyari ulit, kasi nga update yun eh.

But our phone nakuha natin sa tradein are new and latest, at may warranty pa. Enjoy muna sa serbisyo niya at least 2 years, hopefully 4 years..

Our new cellphones ay waterproof, IP68 rating. Eh Hybrid sa baha, tatagal ba yong battery/electrical parts?? 😅

Hello SirC007,

We are sorry to hear about your experience with the recent updates on your Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra having issues with the green lines on screen. Also, with the unpleasant experience you had with the staff of the Service Center when you brought your device for assessment and then for trade-in that somehow way below your expectation and gave you further inconvenience.

I feel and understand your situation, taking care your device to last that long and when it encountered a green line on screen, you are really bothered. If it happens to me, I will feel frustrated and disappointed too.

Moving forward, I highly suggest that you can ask the head of the Service Center where you initially brought your device in order to request your preferred options.

Or you can contact our direct Samsung Customer Care hotline numbers for further assistance and guidance.
