Sadly we as a consumer, cant do anything about this green line unless your phone's warranty isnt expired yet. Try to contact the Samsung service and wish for the best.

My S21 Ultra also got that after an update last year. It lasted 2 and a half years before it got the line. Sadly no more warranty cover. What was advised in Samsung support (factory reset or reset your phone) did nothing. 1705582256591_1705582256580_0.png

That's the issue with Galaxy phones which Samsung won't admit. It is a product defect and as such need to be fixed for free by them. Unfortunately, there is still no class action lawsuit against them or anti-consumer lawsuit so they're taking no action whatsoever.

I hope someone can bring them to court though so they'll fix those issues for free next time.

Sorry to hear these dreaded Galaxy vertical lines appeared on your phone as my Note20-U also got these lines December 2022 upon software upgrade to OneUI5.0.

SAMSUNG must have known that upgrading softwares to their older phone create much heat that pops out the screen hundred thousands diodes that power quickly the LED /pixels. Samsung Customer Center will recommend screen replacement. Depending on models, it costs around 15K, and no guarantee that the newly replaced screen will not get vertical lines again.

Actually, if there's new "software update", we all Galaxy users, have to cross our fingers that it won't harm our phone. Much hustle and money. Try to trade-in your damaged phone, get new models with Snapdragon chip, so far it's working great. 🤞
