How to Backup Secure Folder

Did you know... that we can backup our Secure Folder to an external hard drive/USB flash drive using the Smart Switch? Just select the Secure Folder in Apps when selecting data to backup (see pictures on how to go about it) -- and no worries, the backup data are encrypted! Hope this helps! 

Please make sure that you have a wireless charger since the backup process may take some time and you can't use the port for charging.

Why does it take that long to backup to SSD? How much data and objects are you working with? I'd like to try on the Samsung T7 SSD I have.

I have about 47GB of data in my Secure Folder...

Would you know the number of objects? I know for some reason decryption takes a toll on the process as I've tried moving gigs between secure and normal spaces. And that was just 1 object.

Approximately, I have thousands of pictures and hundreds of videos accumulated through the years.

... and i learned my lesson. I have now "cleaned up" my gallery in my Secure Folder after backing it up. I expect "faster" backup process of my Secure Folder next time. 😀
