I recently visited the service center regarding an issue with my device. To provide context, my device experienced a screen problem (pink line after an update) a year after purchase. Upon consulting the service center, I was informed that the repair cost would be approximately Php7,000, which might escalate after the screen replacement process begins. I am aware that there have been numerous similar cases, and Samsung India has provided free replacements for their customers facing similar issues.

However, when I mentioned this to the staff, I was informed that due to the relatively low number of cases reported for my specific device model, no such assistance could be provided. I find this response concerning, especially considering the widespread occurrence of this problem, as evidenced by the attached video showing multiple instances on social media platforms like X (formerly known as Twitter).

I kindly request your assistance in reevaluating the case and providing a more favorable resolution. I believe it is only fair to receive support, given the premature nature of the issue and the widespread evidence of its occurrence among users. I am open to discussing this matter further and providing any necessary documentation to support my claim.

I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your favorable response.

heads up samsung philippines did offer free of charge that ended last dec 31,2022

but the recent update was last september, i updated mine september 16th if i remember correctly. i bought this august 12th 2022.

a teacher here and my brother's dormmate experienced the same thing at the same time as mine, they just waiting for the other update, just raising this concern here because mine occurred after a year and a month, my warranty is already expired, the replacement fee is so expensive

yes, yes. already did. i chatted with the customer service too. they said they will bring the issue to the higher department. hope it ends well.

I just experienced it today after my samsung galaxy note 20 ultra had an update. Is that the update to f@ us up? Revert it back or fix it.
