SupportYup, RCS failing is a known issue in the Philippines. (I use Google Messages if I really need to send something via RCS - otherwise most people in the PH just use FB Messenger / Viber anyway, so I don't really get to use it as much)
It might be a while before we see a fix for the native app, but for now please keep your phone updated to make sure you don't miss out when it does drop. :)

SupportHey christiansengco,
You can disable default apps from the Apps option in Settings. You may also hold down the icon, press the info button, force stop the app, and set your preferred Messaging app as default. You can take it out of the home screen, as well.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to remove default apps from the app drawer without root access (which voids any warranties.) I suggest putting them in a folder first so they're out of sight.
Hope this helps!
