Samsung Email app and Microsoft Outlook (Hotmail) handle spam folders differently, which is why emails marked as junk in Outlook may not sync with the Spam folder in Samsung Email. Here are some potential workarounds:

1. Check IMAP Sync Settings; Ensure that IMAP is enabled in your Outlook account:
* Log in to Outlook.com.
* Go to Settings (⚙️) > Mail > Sync email.
* Ensure IMAP is enabled.

Then, in Samsung Email:
* Open Samsung Email app > Settings.
* Select your Outlook account.
* Check if "Sync Junk Folder" or "Sync All Folders" is enabled.

2. Manually Map Junk Folder; If Samsung Email does not sync the Outlook Junk folder, you may need to manually assign the folder:
* Go to Settings in Samsung Email.
* Tap on your Outlook account.
* Look for an option like "Manage Folders" or "Folder Sync Settings."
* Ensure Junk Email (Outlook) is selected for syncing.

3. Create an Outlook Rule to Move Junk to Inbox or Another Folder; Since Samsung Email might not recognize Outlook’s Junk folder, you can create a rule to move junk emails to a folder that syncs properly:
* Open Outlook Web.
* Go to Settings (⚙️) > Mail > Rules.
* Create a new rule:
-- Condition: If email is in "Junk Email" folder.
-- Action: Move it to a different folder (e.g., a new folder like "SpamSync").
* Ensure Samsung Email syncs this new folder.

4. Use Outlook App Instead of Samsung Email; If syncing is still an issue, using the Microsoft Outlook app on your Samsung device ensures full synchronization with Junk and other folders.
