My phone has the ability to add cards in Samsung Wallet.

It will work. I just NFCd my BPI Rewards card into Samsung Pass within the Samsung Wallet. I need to try if it will work for payment. Also, I couldn't NFC the card with the Magbak Elite case on. I had to remove it for NFC to work but the system accepts it.

To the people claiming they successfully added their payment cards to this Wallet... HOW?!

Wala talaga siya sa options ng S24U ko. May nagsabing dinikit ang phone sa BPI CC niya at lumabas sa wallet, walang ganun sa akin.

Ang daya naman. Do I really need to get the S25U to be able to use this properly? 😭

Wala pa po talagang digital payments sa PH like samsung pay or apple pay. Pwede tayo mag add sa Samsung Pass para no need na imemorize card number. Pero to use your phone as payment wala pa po talaga

But @dulber said they just added their BPI into Samsung Wallet and @VhinzN said they put in their GoTyme and UnionBank cards, so HINDI fully blocked off ang PH cards sa Samsung Wallet.

I can only presume that you need the S25U for that to work and older phones will have to wait forever (because the BSP is not keen on authorizing smartphone tap to pay, especially Google Pay and Samsung Wallet, anytime soon). 😭

its not actually the phone, samsung pay still has restriction good thing gcash enables noe the tap to pay feature
