Depends on the phone you're using. But if its flagships, it should be in the quick panel icons.

im using an entry level galaxy A10 and running android 11. all you have to do is download screen recorder in google playstore and if ur software runs on android 11 it will show on your notifications bar. and click this two icons.

Meaning, we don't have a pre-installed or built in screen recording? I'm also using an entry level model phone unit Samsung Galaxy M12
