Dear, samsung please remove those essential apps in recommended apps that automatically downloading those unnecessarily app let the user download it by their own such like lazada and shopee because some people don't want those app and makes us struggle everytime we uninstall it and please make the samsung phone don't need to connect to a network to start up so we can finish setting up a phone without internet. I keep always saying this to your agents to tell it to the developers but they are just ignorant.

My mom is using an S10+ and has never installed these "recommended apps" - she doesn't have Shopee or Lazada on her device. It's optional, I don't remember how it looks like during install but if I'm not mistaken you can deselect these apps using a radio button.

I believe you can always skip the "WiFi setup" when setting up your device? And those recommended apps aren't installed unless you agree to install them. There's a button for you to press and accept before agreeing for them to be installed. It's important to read these terms when setting up your device and not just automatically agree to all, especially if it's just optional.

When you skip the wifi setup it will not continue forward always saying no network connection you can't ever continue to the next step and the essential app in recommended app no option for not agreeing. It will only fix if samsung manufacturer will remove it by their system.

I suspect that those essential apps paid samsung for endorsement so that it was pre-installed to devices

I can't really deselect those apps my phone is Samsung A02s maybe it depends of the unit of the device but i really want those to be removed when the first i bought this phone it has also pre-installed twitter but when the time past when i hard reset again my phone it dissapeared and it replace to shopee. So i think samsung can remove it by their system.

It should not be dependent on the device model because the installation guide is the same across the board. Eh di uninstall mo na lang? I'm not sure what the problem here is. Kahit Twitter wala sa phone ng nanay ko.

I did not say that you're making up stories. It's not even implied in my comments. It's hard to understand your point at first because not of all us here can duplicate your scenario since it's in the installation process. But now that you've provided the screenshot I understand your point, and I agree that for some it could be a tad annoying because users are forced to download those during installation. It is possible that Samsung has a partnership established with those two popular online selling platforms.

The temporary fixes I can recommend are:
1. Uninstall the "Essential Apps" after completing the installation process
2. Make another post showing that screenshot and then reference this post. After which we can hope a moderator (or Sam) notices and understands your concern and hopefully transfers them to the Recommended Apps so that users can deselect them in the future.

Here, see for yourself. I only care about the essential apps because the rest in recommended app can be uncheck or deselect for auto downloading.Screenshot_20220921-221731_Recommended apps.jpg
