I bought my new tab A9+ a month or two ago and I have noticed when playing some games that when I am using it in landscape mode with both thumbs operating in the lower left and right corners to operate controls, characters, etc, some times my characters' movement suddenly stops or the control button pressed doesn't respond. If I lift off my thumbs for a second and continue it all works normally again, for a short while, then the problem resurfaces and repeats itself. Has anyone else had the same problem? I've sent several requests to Support but had no response at all.

It could be the palm rejection feature on the A9+. You could be accidentally touching the screen with moisture from your palms or the fleshy bits of your palm, below the thumb causing inputs to the edges of the screen. Try playing the game with just your index fingers to test if this still happens. If it doesn't, then you know you're holding the tab too close to the edge of the screen. You may need to adjust your grip or get antistatic gloves to play your games.

Hope this helps,

The A9 has touch issues, other threads are sharing the same info.

I've tried it with index fingers, making sure there's no palm contact, etc, but with no joy. It happens on several different games that require inputs from both both thumbs. It's worse when using a Bluetooth headset, but not when using a wired one - strange, eh? And I've seen similar comments from others as well.

Have you been able to get a response from Support about it, because I haven't.
