I'm assuming activated na din sa sim mo. In any case pag tatawag ka or tatawagan ka, ittake account na ng device yung wifi mo. Then pag nakareceive or tumawag ka, the wifi signal will enhance the call. Mas malinaw, hindi choppy. Di na nakadepende sa phone signal.

Again, di sapat na nakaenable sa phone mo. Dapat yung sa sim mo activated din sya. Wifi calling/volte are somewhat related. Pag nakawifi ka, wifi calling takes over to compensate sa low signal, enhancing the call reception. Pag wala ka wifi, volte takes over using LTE signal to enhance it.

Hello shims241819,

Thanks for your inquiry here about Wi-Fi calling and hoping that our dear Samsung members were able to satisfy your query.

As for additional information,

If you encounter No signal? No problem. You’re covered with Wi-Fi Calling from participating carriers. With this feature, you can make calls and send messages over a Wi-Fi connection when cell service isn’t available. Now, you’ll never be denied by a weak signal again.

You can also set your preferences for making calls when your cellular network or Wi-Fi is unavailable. Navigate to and open the Phone app. Tap More options (the three vertical dots), tap Settings, and then tap Wi-Fi Calling.

There are a few things you can check on your phone if Wi-Fi calling is not working, or you are unable to use the feature.

To get Wi-Fi Calling to work, you need to make sure you are connected to a Wi-Fi network. A strong connection is necessary to use this feature. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers to open the Quick settings panel, and then check the Wi-Fi icon to see if you're connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Additionally, your SIM card must be inserted to use Wi-Fi Calling, and your address should be updated in case of emergencies. You can also check if your phone's operating system supports the feature. If these steps don't resolve the issue or allow access to the feature, contact your carrier for further assistance.

If you are registered to an Unlimited call promo with Globe or Smart, the Wi-Fi calling should be free, as included in the call promo. However, if not registered to a call promotion, these calls will be charged, just like a regular call.
