I never really cared about my chargers or whether they were fast-charging. But recently, my old Type-C chargers wore out, and since my spare is a C-to-C cable, I needed a new adapter. My mom got me one.

However, I’ve heard that using a charger with the wrong wattage might damage a device. Is that true? And is a 30W charger compatible with a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy A03s?

Hi, jkWoo! For your Samsung device, you can safely use a charger between 25W and 45W. Just make sure to stick to original Samsung travel adapters and USB cables to keep your battery safe and everything fully compatible. You can check out the new adapter here https://www.samsung.com/ph/mobile-accessories/25w-power-adapter-black-ep-t2510nbegca/ , or feel free to visit your nearest Samsung Experience Store to see what's in stock, as availability may vary. đź¤—

The devices don't mind. The charge controller will take charge and draw whatever the source will give out. I charge all my devices from 65W, 100W, 145W, 240W and 300W GAN chargers. The S24u takes as much as 31-32W when below 30%. The Tab S10u almost 40W. And I've been at this since 65W chargers were a thing.
