I want to use a Samsung Tablet whilst travelling as a conduit for downloading photo images from my Camera to an External Hard Drive.
I propose to plug a photo card reader and an EHD into the docking station then connect the docking station to the Tablet via USB-c to transfer the photos for storage.
Is this feasible please or will it not work due to incompatibility issues between the Android tablet and the docking station?
Hi @Rarebird, unfortunately Samsung do not make docking stations in Australia so I'm unable to confirm whether this would work.
An alternative you could test is:
SD card into tablet > Type-C cable of external hard drive into tablet > Use My Files app to transfer between folders.
Notes: I suggest using a copy/paste method when transferring files rather than 'move' or cut/paste in case the disconnection is interrupted and files are corrupted.
