Full screen

Hi. I'm just wondering how to keep screens in full vision. Ever since update I haven't been able to figure it out. When I open a screen/app I have to make it full with arrow. If I am doing something wrong please let me know. Tablet A9+. Thanks.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with us. We understand how frustrating it can be when the display behavior changes after a software update.

To keep apps opening in full view by default, please try the following:

1. Go to Settings > Advanced features > Multi window and turn off Swipe for split screen and Swipe for pop up view.

2. If your screen shows a desktop with a taskbar, DeX is on- swipe down twice, find the DeX icon in Quick Settings, and tap it to turn off if it's blue.

3. Go to Settings > Display > Full screen apps, then set the troubled app to Full screen instead of App default.

I have attached screenshots. It still seems to be a small notification box. I changed to full screen for all of the apps. Maybe notification screen is supposed to be that size. Wondering if changing the view on Smartphone would make a difference. Devices are paired. Thank you for your reply. Maybe restart is necessary for changes to reset. Again thanks.
