Hi I have forgotten my password on my Samsung tablet how do I reset the hole tablet as if it was new

Shut down your tablet then hold power and volume up to hold until your tablet is in recovery mode then select factory reset (use volume up and down to navigate and power to select)

I have done this but it still asking for my google password which I have forgotten

Hi @Mark7779, this function is known as Google's FRP lock and is in place to protect devices from users that have been stolen. 

If you are able to reset your Google password from another device, I suggest doing this so that you can log in to approve the reset. If not, I recommend for you to head into your nearest authorised service centre with your proof of purchase so that we can take a closer look into this.

You need the password. Resetting the device through recovery mode will trigger Factory Reset Protection. This is to ensure the device can't be used if it's been stolen.

You'll have to try and remember the password, or reset the password through your pc (or other mobile device).
