Last night I decided to take out my previous Samsung Galaxy Book 12.1 Android tablet that I had for a few years now. Apparently I did not use it for almost 2 years and was kept away in my drawer at home. Went to turn it on last night, battery dead as a door nail, completely dead. Won't even boot up into Android like the os has been deleted, does killing a battery also kill the OS. How can I put Android back onto this tablet. Thank you

Of cause it won't boot up if the battery is completely dead, and no it doesn't wipe out the OS if the battery is dead,my advice is to recharge the battery,I actually feel weird saying that.

If you can still access Recovery Mode, then try to clear cache then reboot. Also you can try starting it in safe mode to see if it's because of installed apps (possibly outdated) causing the issue.

I did try the recovery mode and tried that, no luck at all. Also I get this Android marshan thing that lies flat on its back upside down with like a red cross on it. I think the last Android 12.2

Ahhh, you are having that dead android thing with a red triangle, right?

If clearing cache and can't start in safe mode not working, you can try wiping the data in your phone (via recovery) if you just want to start it. Or you can also try reflashing the OS via Odin.

But I suspect it's because of your battery. It's too weak or already malfunctioning, causing the OS to fail to boot.
