[New Problem] Tab S7+ stopped detecting external usb cables and some chargers

I was using Dex Mode in an external display earlier while using type C to hdmi. Played a game as well. Took me few hours to play then suddenly, it stopped recognizing the HDMI port (would say USB connected and disconnected interchangeably). I thought it was only the cable somI stopped using the external HDMI.

But when I had to charge my tablet, it stopped detecting my Superfast Charger 2.0 (only says cable charging) so I got worries. I also tried to use the cable charging but would connect and disconnect immediately (except for the superfast charger 2.0)

Can anybody help me?😔

Hi! I did try "wiping cache partition" and it did resolve the connected and disconnected problem (that was non-stop). But it did not solve the fast charging detection po. Should I consider formatting my tablet or will there be other options po that you see? I'm not sure if the USB UI has a problem. It also can't detect the headset OTG.

That would be next step formating the tablet, beforw you do backup the data.

Unfortunately, this did not solve po the problem. But thank you po for noticing this. It really moved me that you take time to help us here in this community. I'm just disappointed since I know I didn't do something that harmed my device. I hope it's just the UI that will eventually work normally.

After I formatted my device, I was expecting for it to be back to android 11 (expecting at as same from what it came out of the box). It's still on Android 12 which is I'm hoping that this issue (or probably bug) be in the UI.

Please let me know po other posible options. Thank you 😭

You can go back to android 11, requires using a computer and needed files

Yes po. And even tried my chargers (both the inside the box charger and super fast charging 2.0) to other device. They worked po.

I didn't do something to the port to potentially harm the device. It just had errors while using Dex in an external monitor. Though it was said that Dex is buggy after the android 12 update, but it worked fine until that incident. I mean, it still works fine now but not sure with external monitor 😣
