Hi @JCB127, I am sorry to hear about the experience you've had with your Tab A. For issues such as these, I recommend for you to head into your nearest authorised service centre with your proof of purchase so that we can take a closer look into this. Please be aware that due to our Privacy Policy, your device may be factory reset before being assessed.

I highly recommend backing up your device via Smart Switch, OneDrive and/or Google to ensure none of your data is lost.

For more information on how to back up your device:

https://www.samsung.com/au/support/mobile-devices/back-up-samsung-device/

To book an appointment prior to heading in-store or to drop off your device via Australia Post: https://www.samsung.com/au/support/your-service/main

To find your nearest store: https://www.samsung.com/au/samsungstore/

Hope this helps!

Hi Laura an update on the pad
I got it back yesterday and it still has the same issue. Contacted repairer and they said to drop it back in. Could be an app problem. Cant drop it back in I'm not in that city. Ho Hum😭

Hi @JCB127, that is very strange. Does your tablet have any 3rd party cases with magnets on it that could be causing the issue?

Please send us an error report via the Samsung Members app so that our team can look further into this:

Open Samsung Members app > Get Help > Error Report > Restarting > Detail issue and frequency > tick 'send log data' > Send.
