TabletsWhen I got software update one ui 5.1 , wifi the I found pen would not bring up the key board. If I used my finger or a dobber it would.Ater it was up pen worked fine. At samsung all they wanted to do is have me upgrade to s8 tablet. I have tried what I could but to no avail, and I heard there are not doing anymore software updates so pen will not be fixed

Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.
Step 2. Tap on Download and install.
Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
You may also need to check and inspect the nibs of your S Pen if there's a visible damage.
If that doesn't fix the problem, you may submit an error report through the Samsung Members app as follows:
Step 1. Long press Samsung Members icon on Apps screen and tap Error reports.
Step 2. Tap OK on agreement popup to send system log data.
Step 3. Select Symptom category "Accessory".
Step 4. Describe the problem in details and SEND.
