Samsung Note on Tab S8+ does not sync with Samsung cloud

Samsung Note on my Samsung galaxy tab S8+ no longer syncs with my Samsung cloud. Which means that the Notes on my phone are not the same as the Notes on my tablet. I've done everything I can do - restarted my tablet, signed out of my Samsung account on my tablet, unsync and sync again, I even synced the note to Microsoft's Onedrive just to be sure. None of these have worked, and I'm at my wit's end.

Not sure if this will help, but July 3rd support for Music & Document backupd will end in Canada.

I believe that Gallery Sync ended earlier. 

What I'd try is this for your notes.

Connect the device that you want to copy FROM to your computer & Copy the notes.

Then connect the device that you want to copy TO with your computer & copy them. 

 

I'm not 100% sure if this will work, but on the surface I think that it should.

I dont think it's this... my 23u and tab7 are syncing notes currently. They wouldn't drop that support.

There will need to be a cloud sync variant via one drive. My gallery still sync's, but i switched all my back up to one drive when they integrated that.

@op - did you double check the sync settings on the phone? Everything you are mentioning is related to the tablet.

I have but did not log out and login. But now that you've mentioned it, I'll take a look at the phone sync and post my findings here.

Hi guys, I'm back to relay how it turned out.

After @Fatwa advised I check the settings on my phone, I did and realised that while every setting was "working perfectly", that wasn't the case. The Notes on my phone were indeed not syncing to the samsung cloud even after clicking 'sync now' several times on my phone. I restarted my phone thinking it'd work yet to no avail.

So I made the decision to uninstall the Samsung Notes app on my phone, after seeing two Samsung Notes apps on the Galaxy store on my phone but one app on the Galaxy store on my tablet (I've included a picture).

I installed it on my phone again after uninstalling it, and it began to sync again. I'm unhappy I had to uninstall the app, because I lost some unsynced notes but I guess that was the only solution to the problem.

Google to hear that you got Sync working again, but I would have tried copying the notes that I wanted to keep to my computer before Uninstalling the app.

I don't know how to do this. How would the notes have copied? Do I download notes app for Windows (is that even a thing) or converted the notes to pdf? I don't get this solution.
