Samsung notes update on S8 Ultra Tab

I just updated my tablet and samsung notes to their latest softwares... for some reason I cannot open upto 5 samsung note tabs on my tablet like how I used to before for updates. I used to be able to drag and drop open new tabs from my side bar where I have my notes app for quick access but now I can only open 2 notes tabs which is very inconvenient. Anyone else notice this similar problem? And or have a fix for this.

Hi, we suggest you to backup and reset the device and then check Samsung Notes again.

I'm scared to do that right now because I have finals for school. I'll try afterwards. Will there be another update coming out to fix the issue? Because I've never had this issue before
