TabletsYou are absolutely correct. I deactivated my antivirus, Avast and it connected immediately.

TabletsHi, thanks a lot for your information. I have just disabled the firewall and the second screen works perfect. I had lost a lot of time to do it functional. My best regards.

TabletsEureka! It now works for me too. having tried all sorts, I saw this message and duly turned off my W10 PC (Windows Defender Firewall) setting for "Private networks," (produced a Windows Security warning "Not recommended" action). This firewall change/disablement means that when I apply the "Second screen" connection procedure again, the Tablet successfully displays the desired PC's Desktop, (albeit a smaller-scale version of same). The Tablet (PC Desktop image) might now have the App Shortcuts/icons laid-out in different locations, but this is obviously down to Tablet's smaller screen. I find I'm able to use either my normal PC Mouse or the Samsung Galaxy S9 FE Tablet's S-pen to operate/navigate Tablet just like I'm using my PC, (but with a smaller screen of course). Everything now seems to work, so happy days. When I'm not using the Tablet and "Second screen," I will be putting my PC's Windows Defender Firewall settings back to where they were. Only takes a min to change 'em again. Hope this helps someone else.

TabletsGuys, I deactivated the firewall in my Avast antivirus and it connected immediately.
After that, just follow the steps below:
try these steps to connect your Galaxy Tab S9+ to your Windows computer:
- On your tablet, open the Quick settings panel by swiping down from the top of the screen.
- Swipe left and tap the Second screen icon.
- Choose the connection mode: Drawing/Gaming or Video.
- Keep the Second screen page open on your tablet.
- On your Windows computer, simultaneously press the Windows key and K key.
- Select your tablet from the available devices list.
- Optionally, check "Allow mouse, keyboard, touch, and pen input from this device."
- Your computer's screen will appear on your tablet. Use your computer's mouse or tablet's touch screen for navigation.
- Right-click the desktop, choose Display settings, and select between Duplicate or Extend displays.
- Rearrange monitors if needed; apply changes.
- A toolbar will appear on both screens; pin or unpin using the thumbtack icon.
- To disconnect, select Disconnect on the tablet or press Windows key + K on your computer, then choose Disconnect next to your tablet's name.
Let us know how it goes!
