Second screen not working

I cant connect from my pc to my s9+ via second screen it keeps on saying cant connect i already installed second screen app on my windows 11 but it wont connect

Hi Justine!

The "Connection mode: option no longer exists unfortunately.
I just installed the Second Screen app on both my Windows 10 and my Windows 11 machine.

When I tap the "Second screen" option from the Quick Settings menu on my Tab 9, it just shows a page with information about how to connect:

Has this been resolved? I'm also having the same issue.
When getting to the Second Screen page via the Quick Settings, it doesn't show any connection mode. I'm using Samsung S9 FE+ tablet.

Thanks for the quick response, I have connected with chat support. They advised me to do factory reset, even when this tablet was just recently bought.

Tell me if it works, as you can see if you scroll up they advise me to re install the app but it did not work im hopping the android 14 and one ui 6 would fix this issue

@psygorn - as checked, my issue is due to company laptop restrictions; hence, couldn't use the wireless second screen feature. I'm planning to use usb-c to hdmi cable instead - will check if it'll work for me.

Having the same issue it started after UI6 upadate

Thats sad, i found a fix for my issue, the turn off the vpn that i was using, it finally connects

Thanks, this was frustrating me. Disabling the VPN worked. 

So I used my phone hotspot. 

• Switch to airplane mode on phone.
• connect to public WiFi using phone.
• Enable VPN on phone.
• Disable VPN on laptop and tablet S8 Ultra.
• Connect to phone hotspot wifi from tablet and phone.
• Second Screen now works like a charm.

I wonder if Second Screen can work via data cable?
