Second screen not working

I cant connect from my pc to my s9+ via second screen it keeps on saying cant connect i already installed second screen app on my windows 11 but it wont connect

Correct, same case here. Couldn't make it work, but disabling ESET firewall worked like a charm. The screen connected instantly.

How to:

1. Right-click on the ESET tray icon.
2. Click `Pause Firewall`.
3. Follow the steps to connect the second screen (app on tablet, Win+K on desktop).
4. PROFIT
5. (optional) You can turn on the firewall, this should not interrupt the connection.

in my galaxy s23ultra or you say in every one ui 6 devices the setting would not open when tapping 10x on smart view or any other area but in other device it is open setting and ask for password but in my devices there is nothing

so suggest me idea to fix it

Does anyone know why "second screen" is not an option in quick settings on my 9+ tablet.

You can edit it pull the drop down then the pencil icon the edit

Having the same problem... 
Samsung s8 ultra. 

Extra screen app on tablet does not have the option to choose connection setting. 

I have installed the extra screen app from samsung on my win 11. 
I have turned of my Eset firewall. 

The tablet shows both on extra screen app and native win + K. 
When i hit connect, the tablet first get a popup saying it need to temporarily disconect from wifi while connected to pc. The options are agree or decline. (i have tried both). 

Then another popup with a 30 sec cooldown comes up on the tablet, asking if i want to connect to the pc. Agree or decline. 

When all is agreed the extra screen app/win + K on my win 11 spins for 2-5 seconds, and then i just get the message "cant connect"...

As of 3/28/24, second screen works. The issue is that the instructions  on the are out of date and no longer correct which leads users to frustration.

Simple Steps are

Download and install second screen from windows app store, run the program

On tablet, open second screen found in notifications area.

Pretty much same as before, but here's where the hiccup happens

With second screen app running on both tablet and pc, 

Open Windows Settings -> Bluetooth & Devices ->  Add Wireless Display -> add s8/s9 tablet

Good new is that you only need to that part once, after this everything is handled within the second screen app
