slow download speed tab A8 2019

Hi we have 2 galaxy tab A8 2019, both have very slow internet speed (4.25 mbps), how can I fix that

Does this occur with other devices?

Is your router support Wireless n and ac ? Also, it depends on how far away from router and is there any dry walls interference the signal. Like CHMutimedia says, does other devices also slow?

Hey @toolmaker,

please try the suggestions provided by @Tallman and @CHMultimedia. Also, the speed would be shared among the devices that are connected to the router.

Try checking your router to see if you have Band Steering on. Your download speeds sound like they're on 2.5 G whereas on 5G it's a little faster.
2nd thing to look at is your processor as some Tab A8 are geared towards kid's & only have a 64 bit quad core processor. This is found on the box (if still have it)
