My tablet was kind of old and it was never touch 2 years ago, thinking it will never be fixed. Today, I decided to fix this up.

Current behaviour of the device
When trying to power it on, the device displays several text, it looks like it’s debugging itself (see attached image).

Now, while this device displays this texts, I push the following button to get to odin mode, “volume down+home+power button”. It should have displayed a warning about entering odin mode, (to which pressing volume up continues going to odin mode and volume down cancels it), but it displays nothing-just blank. But even though it displays blank, I pressed volume up, to which I got then to odin mode.

Now, I have already downloaded the firmware for this device. I have attached BL_*tar.md5, AP_*tar.md5, CP_*tar.md5 and CSC_*tar.md5 to the fields of odin, and unchecked “auto reboot”, but then odin failed to flash, Odin failed writing the PBL.bin (primary bootloader?) from BL_*tar.md5.

Change plan, I decided to manually, one by one, flash each *img from AP_*tar.md5 which consist of:
boot.img
NVM.img
recovery.img
system.img

Extracting system.img from AP_*tar.md5, compressing it with tar and flashing it, starts download and a progress bar appeared on the tablet, but after restarting, it did not saved the device. No good news.

Extracting NVM.img from AP_*tar.md5, compressing it with tar to NVM.tar.gz and flashing it also returned success from odin (and a progress bar appeared) but it did not saved the device. No good news.

Other *img, (boot.img and recovery.img) failed to flash.

Also, recovery mode cannot be access. it directly leads me to self test. There is also no boot animation of samsung logo.

Could someone (who is technically inclined?) help me in bringing this piece of device back into life?

I’m well educated in the C programming language and I do hope this could help me in saving this device. (Assuming it’s a software problem)

I'm not deeply technically inclined but this might help (?):

I figured you need some help connecting it to a pc to help in the boot phase.

Odin does recognized the tablet. As I mentioned in my post, "flashing it, starts download and a progress bar appeared on the tablet."
