It is suppose to shut off the tablet (sleep) when cover closed. It does not do it. Anothe case (Finite) had the same issue so am wondering if it is maybe the S3 tab itself. Any thoughts?
Hi JohnM, Please make sure that the tablet is updated to the latest version. Go to Settings> Software updates> Download and Install> Download.
Please note that Samsung always recommended using the original Samsung accessories to get a better experience as we do not have tested information with the third-party accessories. You can purchase the original accessories for your tablet from SamsungCanadaparts.com or Samsung authorized stores(Ex: Bestbuy, Videotron, Staples, Telus etc...)
Hi again and thank you, I had not seen this msg. It is an S3 Tab so no more software updates. I tried my 3rd smart case and none have been sucessful in turning off the tablet when closed.
I guess something internal to the tablet has gone haywire as it always worked in the past.
