Tab S7+ Can't launch recovery mode

Looking to clear the cache partition for regular hygiene. Can't for the life of me get this device into recovery mode.

The hard keys all work. I can get it into Safe mode with pwr+volume down on boot... no joy on pwr+vol up on boot.

Anyone know what gives? It just goes through the regular boot up process.

Did you try @CHMultimedia tricks 

when you plug your device to your computer and use Smart Switch PC, have you tried clicking on the "Plus" button on the top left and selected the Emergency Recovery function?

I haven't no... I only use Dex now so don't have a PC anymore. I'll keep that in mind thought, thanks.

I tried @Cassidy solution with Smart Switch on a computer but cannot see a way to get to wipe the cache this way either

Hi Fatwa,

While trying to enter into the recovery mode make sure that the Tab is having enough Battery or it is fully charged. If the battery is low, Then the device cannot be booted into the recovery mode.

Please connect the charger and then boot the device into recovery mode.

Thanks, It doesn't work at full power, or plugged in.

I also factory reset last night. No change.

Are there any other diagnostic opportunities or is this a defective unit?

Halston - is there now enough dialog on this thread for you to do something meaningful here with respect to making this a known issue for Samsung to start working on?
