Hi everyone, I own a samsung galaxy tablet S6 lite and everything was going great up until recently. When the tablet is plugged in, it doesn't charge but rather flashes the battery icon at me in the top right corner. Not sure what is going on?

Open the Samsung Members app > Support > Diagnostics and View Tests > Run the Diagnostics for the Battery & USB Charging.

Or if your device has Device Care > Open it & Click on the Battery to check it's health.

Hi, as suggested by the RedDogRabbit you can perform the Diagnostic tests for Battery from Samsung Members app.

STEP 1. Open Samsung Members.

STEP 2. Tap on Diagnostics.

STEP 3. Tap on Test hardware.

STEP 4. Choose the Battery to check and optimize the performance.

Also, have you tried using another Samsung original charger and check if the Tablet is charging.

Hi there, I did the diagnostic test and for cable charging it continues to count down not registering the cable despite using several different cables

Do you have a different Charging Block that you could try, or even plug the USB cable into a laptop / desktop computer? 

If you make a visual inspection of the USB port, do you see any debris or damage? 

You may need to visit a Samsung Service Centre? 

If the USB port is the issue, Wiping Cache / Factory Reset is not likely to help, unfortunately.
