Hello 

I bought one of the Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch 4, Bluetooth. 

There are a number of updates initially, so keep it on the Wireless charger. 

Be patient, this is a watch, not a phone, while updating firmware and apps. 

Some retailers and others state, that you need Smartwatch LTE to shop without a cell phone. 

This is not true. 

Press and hold the bottom button, on the watch and download the watch payment app and add a debit card (follow the steps). 

This only authorises the watch to make a purchase, only. 

I tested this with my cell phone, turned off. 

The bank recorded on the statement, the purchase from the time the watch was used. 

Now, you can leave the phone at home. 

However, make sure the funds are available for purchases. 

The smartwatch has no issues, gradually interacts with the user, more and more. 

What you need to sync day to day activity, a phone, bank card and the watch.

Please note, there is a limit.
I did post a link to it a while back, but can't find it now.

From memory, you're limited to 10 payments, then you'll need to sync with your phone again.

that's right Samsung pay does not require Internet just like Apple pay.
