Black or blank screen on tv but have sound

I have a Samsung LA26B450C4D TV that is giving me trouble. I can turn it on and have both picture and sound and yet another time all I have is the sound. I have done all the resets etc. that Samsung has asked me to do but it is still happening. I have even changed the cable running from the wall socket to the TV with no luck

Can someone tell me what the problem is and if it can be fixed OR is the TV totally broken and has to be replaced?

I am having the same issue with my Samsung UA50F6300AM. There’s sound but no picture. Can’t bring up the menu but can change the channel.

sounds like your TV's toast... quite an old tv too aye
