Our TV repetitively and continuously, switches on and off. When we turn it on and try to use it, it automatically switches off after about 5secs then immediately switches back on automatically. And the cycle repeats until I turn it off with the remote.

Shutting off internet, disconnecting all devices helps, sort of, the TV stays on for 1m45 secs before switching off.

Using the remote to navigate the menu items does not trigger a shutdown, but if I navigate to an menu item which has animation, boom, the TV will shut down.

Moving the remote out of range and using the manual button on the bottom of the TV doesn’t make a difference, the above still applies

I’ve been testing everything I can think of - reading the manual and googling it. And it has been switched off at the wall for hours multiple times.

We would be appreciative of any solutions anyone has to offer. And please let us know if you have had the same or similar issue.

Does anyone know how to bypass the computer part of the TV and just use it as a panel/monitor/display?

Thanks,

Grant

That sounds like your tv is power cycling. Have you contacted an authorised service centre for an assessment? You can find one near you here.
