WearablesHi margotttt,
Irritation can occur due to the following issues:
1. Improper fit. If you are using a larger earbud than you're supposed to, the tips will tend to cause friction that irritates your skin over time.
2. Cleanliness. Over time, dirt, dead skin, earwax, and debris accumulate around the eartips, which can cause irritation.
3. Age. If you've been using your Buds for a while, the tips might already be damaged, which could be causing irritation.
We recommend either cleaning out the tips with soapy water, microfiber cloths, or alcohol wipes first. You can also replace the eartips to see if you can find a better fit, or in case your current eartips are damaged.
