Hello guys. I use to ride an electric assisted bicycle for my workouts and normally my gear S3 classic recognizes my workout after 10 minutes and registers it pretty much accurately. Nevertheless, I suspect that my calories consumption is calculated based on an exercise using a regular bike, without the electric engine. I've been reading that the watch uses the speed based to the GPS to differentiate a bicycle ride from a motorcycle ride, but I'm not sure if my heart rate information is considered as well. Should I trust the calorie consumption that Samsung gives me? Would that be based on my oxygen consumption based on my heart rate during the workout? Would that be a conversion to be used when it comes to an electric assisted bicycle? Thanks in advance.
