Create routines in watch 8 Classic LTE

Hi everyone, I recently started running and usually just bring my Galaxy Watch 8 classic LTE and Buds Pro 3 — no phone.
However, I’ve noticed the watch battery drains pretty fast. To save battery, I’ve found that turning off Wi-Fi when I’m running helps. And when I reconnect the watch to my phone later, I don’t really need LTE turned on anymore. Instead of doing this manually every time, I’d like to set up an automation or routine.
Ideally: When the watch disconnects from my phone → turn Wi-Fi off, turn LTE on, turn Bluetooth on (for the Buds).
When the watch reconnects to my phone → turn Wi-Fi back on, turn LTE off. The issue is: when I try to set up a routine from my phone, it only applies to the phone — not the watch.
And inside the Samsung Wearable app, the routine options for the watch are very limited. There's not an option to create routines just take those routines created in the phone.
Is there any way to automate this directly on the watch, or link it to phone connectivity status? Any guidance would be appreciated.

I can only see these as the option - so when watch disconnects, maybe put in power saving mode

And create another to stop it. Don't see a way of turning network connections off/on for watch from routines 1762072355209.jpg1762072355216.jpg

Hi @GiovSalerno,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We have tested and verified that there is no option to disable Wi-Fi via Mode for wearable devices.

One option we can see is to enable "Power saver" via Mode, but it might restrict other applications within your device.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

Warm regards,
