WearablesHi Samsung,
I recently purchased Samsung Galaxy Bud Pro on 8th April. Around 27 May, I had to visit doctor at Parkway Shenton for clear **bleep** dripping from my right ear. I wasn't sure what was the cause as it's the first time I experience this. I was given eardrops to apply. After a few days, I sort of recovered as the part dries up. I start wearing back the Galaxy bud Pro, the inflammation returned after a day or 2.. it was getting painful and itchy and it start affecting my left ear also. This happened on and off whenever I start putting earbud in again. When I realize it could be due to the buds.. I stop using it for more then a week and now it seems to have recovered.
This morning I start googling if this is a problem with other users.. apparently it is affecting quite a number of users in the world.. unfortunately, i read the reason given by samsung is due to the earbud tip size or recommending users to disinfect and clean the ear buds.. I had already done the cleaning that but it's not helping. I hope you have alternative solution like giving us different quality earbud tips that is of different made. I might try the buds on again in the coming weeks.. and if infection returns, it should further proof that the earbud tips is of the issue.. it clearly disappointing as it's the first Samsung ear bud I purchase and its causing medical problem for me.

WearablesHello visionsZx. I am Faiz from Samsung.
We regret the inconvenience issue that you are facing with the Galaxy Buds Pro. Samsung Electronics does not use any internationally restricted materials or any other potentially harmful material in any component of the Galaxy Buds that comes into direct contact with the skin. Galaxy Buds Pro contains Polycarbonate (PC), Stainless and Brass (Palladium/gold plated) materials.
You may refer to the link for further information on the Galaxy Buds materials, how to wear and maintaining your Galaxy Buds Pro:

Wearablesi posted a similar situation over at the EU Samsung community page. since i am based in Singapore, i will post here as well.

i have the same issue with buds pro. ear infection, redness, wet ear, puss flowing, etc. spent a few hundred dollars on ear specialist clinic already. :(
i have tried giving the buds pro multiple chances by getting other foam tips or replacement tips. all dont work out. have to give up on the buds pro now. no problems with earlier buds or other brands at all.
