WearablesHi JB17,
Thank you for reaching out. I understand how important accurate sleep tracking is, and I’m here to help. If your Galaxy Watch has recently stopped tracking sleep correctly or is showing incorrect times, please try the following troubleshooting steps.
Restart Your Watch & Phone: A simple restart can sometimes resolve tracking issues. Please try restarting both your Galaxy Watch and your connected smartphone, then monitor the sleep tracking results.
Make sure your watch and Samsung Health app are up to date:
On your watch, go to Settings > Software Update and check for any available updates. On your phone, open the Galaxy Store or Play Store, search for Samsung Health, and update if necessary.
Adjust Fit & Position: The watch should be snug but comfortable on your wrist while sleeping. If the watch is worn too loosely, sleep tracking may be affected.
Reset Sleep Data Permissions: On your phone, go to Settings > Apps > Samsung Health > Permissions. Ensure that "Body Sensors" and "Physical Activity" permissions are enabled.
Reset & Reconnect the Watch: If the issue persists, try resetting your watch: Go to Settings > General > Reset (Ensure you back up your data first). Reconnect the watch to your phone and test sleep tracking again.
If you've tried these steps and are still experiencing issues, we recommend submitting a report through the Samsung Members app so our team can investigate further.

WearablesHi JB17,
I apologize for the miscommunication regarding the Galaxy Ring. Please try the few things to resolve the sleep tracking issues:
Check Fit & Position: Please ensure the Galaxy Ring fits snugly on your finger. If it's too loose, it might not track sleep properly. We recommend wearing it on the index or middle finger for best accuracy.
Restart your phone and toggle Bluetooth off/on. Open the Galaxy Wearable app, disconnect the ring, then reconnect it.
Check Samsung Health Sleep Settings: Open Samsung Health > Sleep and ensure that Sleep Tracking is Enabled. Galaxy Ring is set as the sleep tracker.
The infrared sensors on the inside of the Galaxy Ring can get blocked by dirt, sweat, or lotion. Wipe it down with a soft cloth and try again.
If nothing works, you can reset the ring via Galaxy Wearable > About Ring > Reset Ring. Then, set it up again and test.
Please let us know if any of these steps help!
Thank you.
