Galaxy Watch 3 not receiving texts

Galaxy Watch 3 paired with an S20 ultra Wont aren't to receive text messages received on phone while connected to Bluetooth and wearing. Phone is within 5 metres of watch. Tried restarting to no prevail.

Hi Ashley, can you check if your settings have messages enabled in the notifications? On your watch go to: 

Settings > notifications > manage notifications > Scroll down to find your message app and make sure the slide toggle is on.

Can confirm that it's on. It receives some messages but very delayed. A good 4-5 minutes later. Same with emails through Samsung email app.

Thanks Ashley. Can I also get you to check if Data Saver is disabled in your settings. It's possible while Data Saver is on, it disables these apps and bypass your notification settings.

Where would I find this setting?

This can be found in your phone settings. You'll need to go to Settings > Apps > ⋮ > Special access > 'Allowed to use data while Data Saver is on' and also check 'Notification Access'. 

If the issue persists, I suggest sending an error report using the Galaxy Wearable app so that our research team can assess if there are any issues in your device. They will get back to you with a response after assessing your report. 

To send an error report for a wearable, follow these steps:

1. Go to Galaxy Wearables app > click on the device desired on the side menu
2. In the side menu, tap Contact us > Error reports (in the Get help section)
3. Fill in details and the frequency of the issue that you have with the wearable.
4. Click send.
